The Sunstone Story

When Dennis Elsom emigrated from England to Canada, he settled in the lower mainland and began purchasing properties. Arriving in 1954, he purchased over 100 acres in the Nordel area over the next few decades, known locally as the Delsom Lands or Delsom Estates. Located on the west side of North Delta, the 100-acre site comprised lands north and south of Nordel Way. The parcel of land was sold to Polygon in the 1990’s and the company worked closely with the Corporation of Delta to create the magnificent master-planned community of Sunstone, arguably one of the premium neighbourhoods in the lower mainland.

The Sunstone Community is an exciting and friendly family oriented neighbourhood , presently with numerous separate multifamily residential townhouses built by Polygon, and almost 200 single family homes built by MorningStar Homes. There is approximately 25,000 – 30,000 square feet of prime retail space aptly called Sunstone Village.

Sunstone is an active established community. Every townhome resident is a member of the exclusive Sunstone Club, providing resort-like amenities in the over 12,000 sq ft conveniently located clubhouse. It’s all just minutes to major traffic routes and all North Delta has to offer. Easy access to the Vancouver Airport, Fraser Valley, the Cities of Vancouver and Surrey, and border crossings to the USA.
